ESTABLISHMENT OF MOVING IMAGE (CHALANTI PRATIMA) OF MAA MAJHI GHARIANI AND OTHER FODDESS:

 

 

 

The Chalanti Pratima (moving symbol of Maa Majhighariani (Five Khandas or sword) have been established on the pendal of the Temple over the incarnate Goddess Idol of  Maa Majhi Ghariani which are being taken on behalf of Maa Majhi Ghariani either  to Durga and Balijatra Puja at Tahasil office or to different Puja Mandap where Ghato Parava in Chaitra month is being held on invitation, out of 5 Chalanti  Pratima 3(Three) are of moving image.

    The Chalanti Pratima  a belongs to following Thakurani.

  1. Maa Majhi Ghariani.

  2. Maa Raijiobuli.

  3. Maa Bahirabi

  4. Maa Budha Raja

  5. Maa Durga.

1) MAA MAJHI GHARIANI CHALANTI PRATIMA KHANDA:
    This moving symbols of “Maa Majhi Ghariani” visits to pandal of Tahasil office, Rayagada during Balijatra and also to Pendals of Ghata Parva  organized  during Chaitra month at various streets and to Theruabli.

2) MAA RAIJIOBULI PRATIMA KHANDA OR SWORD:
    This moving Symbol of “Maa Raijabali which goes on Palinki carried by two persons to various nearby villages as and when people invites to give darshan and eradicate evil influence over the village or people suffers from various of disease.

3&4) MAA BHAIRABI AND BUDHA RAJA  PRATIMA KHANDAS OR SWORDS:
    The symbol of Maa Bhairabi and Budha Raja are established to give darshan to devotees and did not go outside.

5) MAA DURGA PRATIMA  KHANDA OR SWORD:
    This is the symbol of Maa Durga which is taken during Durga Puja to the Pendal erected in Tahasil Office on  invitation by Tahasildar, Rayagada (after abolish of estate of Maharaja) for puja function of 10 days.
